F I R S T D R E S S

Taking a step back in time i wanted to share with you the very first dress i ever made! This was about 2 years ago now when i went out on a whim to purchase my sewing machine. I used a gorgeous orange print fabric i came across at some markets and a chain from a vintage bag. All in all i wanted to go for a Maurie and Eve style rustic dress.

I came across the wonderful designer Maurie and Eve about 4 years ago now, day dreaming through their website while i was in design school. So throughout all my designs to date i always have to an extent a Maurie and Eve influence throughout my works, whether its from designing, or styling and shooting, they will always be a label i am mesmerized by.

These pictures were taken by the amazing photographer Annaliese Raftl. There are a range of outfits coming up that Annaliese has taken for an assignment. The theme is 'Black and Gold', which she has captured perfectly. The stunning model, Sarah Macready not only captured the urban and classic feel to the brief but shows of the clothes beautifully. 

Although i will always keep this dress to look back on, it is nice to see it somewhat 'dressed up' and in action.

HOT OFF THE PRESS

COMING this thursday

 

So here they are, the rest of the stock that will be in store this Thursday evening. A slight change this time, to a white background. While they aren't as spectacular and creative as the outdoor shots, it shows alot more detail within each item. 

Im not throwing away outdoor photo shoots anytime soon as they remain my favourite, it was just impossible to do a large amount of items outdoors -especially in the extreme weather conditions we have had lately.

Over on the Hilda Mae facebook page tonight i will be uploading each of the items for sale and the sizes, so take a quick look so you dont miss out on Thursday!

O N S A L E thursday part 1

 

Hi ladies, here is an update of the the first lot of items that will be up for sale this Thurdsay evening. I hope you like, as there are a few pieces a little bit more edgier than our usual bohemian style but i think it all balances out :) As requested there are a few more larger items for sale, but these also can be worn oversized, it just depends what look you are after.

I will update the Hilda Mae Facebook tomorrow evening with all items and sizes ready for sale on Thursday.

an update

Here we are in the middle of February and how time had flown! I hope you all have had an awesome year so far. With many ups and downs already i cant wait to settle back down into a routine, a surprise trip for lunch to the Sydney Fish Markets on Valentines Day was very much a highlight not to mention my little gift - i was nothing but spoilt :) So i hope you all enjoyed your day whether or not you chose to celebrate. 

With all my latest stock all photographed, i now have the task of measuring, listing and packing 

(not my most favourite part of it all!) So over the next week i will be announcing the second launch date of our stock and also a little surprise... but until then...
